What's up with Robert Novak? |
|
I just got a call from home, and apparently that old shifty snake Robert Novak has just come out blasting Bush and the Administration over something.
Has he fallen out with the repuke upper echilon? Did Dick Cheny name his wife as a CIA undercover operative?
Has the worm finally turned for Mr. Novak?
I have no TV access here. All of this is second hand. Somebody bring me up to speed, please.

1. Maybe they are finally... |
|
...threatening to throw his ass in jail over the Plame affair. I know it isn't likely but it's what he deserves. It's what they all deserve.

Novak has a circle of mepublican's who protect him for all the ass kissing he does. Hardly think he will be kicked out of the circle of jerks click.

the Adminstration. Its far from even a significant minority of his work, but its there.

5. Novak never really liked Bush |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 12:55 PM by Doomsayer13
didn't like the war in Iraq, didn't like Bush education programs (no child left behind), didn't like the runaway spending and rank hypocricy of republicans who say they want smaller government while securing 5 million in pork for their districts.
That said, he hates taxes more than anything, so I guess he supported Bush over that one issue.

6. Nah he does that to appear unbiased. |
|
to paraphrase from 'The Usual Suspects'....he's protected from up high....by the Prince of Darkness himself".
He's larfing so hard about Miller and the Time mag guy that his dentures are rattling.

7. on CNN this morning, in an interview |
|
Apparently, he was blasting Bush over his "typical republican mindset" that is horrible for the country, and that he (Robert Novak) was always against the war.
This is all second hand. I haven't seen the interview myself, but my fiancee said he looked terribly thin and weary.
I'm willing to bet he's turned coat.

Probably liver troubles. Didn't he fall down drunk in a tub in his hotel during the Democratic National Convention?

10. I have heard him talk several times about |
|
his stance (generally) against the war. Also, he was pretty vehement against Bush's "switch" on Israeli policy this last spring. Albeit, he is still a jerk.
