Alberto Gonzales' son worked for Hustler until last month
His daddy, the new Attorney General to be, asked him only last month to quit because of his appointment.

Check out www.americablog.org

Also, there is a great extract from a tract on slavery that's being taught in Christian schools in the south that makes out that slavery was a good thing.

4. Yes, but don't forget who's behind the curtain ...
Brian Lamb on CSPAN, as if on cue by KKKarl Rove seemingly touted the apparent "diversity" in the * cabinet. Oh what strides! That's bullshit.

I submit all *'s cabinet as sharing but one COLOR: The Mean Green.

But Rove is a genius. If someone dare criticizes Herr Gonzales, the Right Wing Media will accuse you of being racist.

"Don't pay attention to those leftists or the MSM the few times it chooses to criticize our Emperor! ALL minority right wing people are GOOD, ALL liberals (any color) are BAD. And Democrats are ALL racists if they criticize a right wing person of color ... There, now you have the Right Wing's talking points for the next four years." :(

The Administration's cute little nickname for these appointments:
THE UNTOUCHABLES

Yep, us liberals are screwed for the foreseeable future (at least four years).

5. Why did he have to quit?
There's no shame in the pleasure industry. It should not be ever viewed by children, but then neither should people have sex in front of their kids. The hypocricy is that he asked him to quit now.

6. Oh no we don't ! ... I'd love to throw back at them
Oh the shame of it all! These people tout MORALS above all else. This should be a major scandal. Damn, YES I want the media to blow this up bigger than the stain on Monica's dress.

When you're backed in the corner you have to play snotty and downright dirty. KKKarl wouldn't pass up this opportunity if it was some Democratic nominee picked for a cabinet position. He'd have it published all over the MSM and his hate radio outlets in a New York Minute.

Let me begin practicing: Oh the HYPOCRISY! The shame! <eg>

7. Democrats need to find a way to use this.
This is the sort of information that can used to illustrate how bizarre the Reich wing fundamentalist wing of the republican party actually is. The Reich wing fundamentalists can be exploited to drive the moderate republicans and independents away from the republican party but the democrats need to do the exploiting. I am not sure exactly how the democrats should proceed but the Reich wing fundamentalists are providing at least one opening.
Yesterday, Jan LaRue, chief counsel of the conservative group Concerned Women for America, told me Freeze's employment with Flynt is "a legitimate issue" that should be raised next month before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"The Justice Department is responsible for enforcing the obscenity and child pornography laws," LaRue said, "and Larry Flynt's publications include hard-core prosecutable material, in my opinion."

She added that she wants to know if Gonzales had urged his stepson to quit before he knew he was going to be nominated.

"If he didn't, that wouldn't be very helpful," she said.

There are 10 or 15 million decent Americans who vote republican who find the Reich wing fundamentalists to be really offensive. But those decent people do not, or will not, admit that the fundamentalists are in control of the GOP. They act like that wing of the party is just some amusing but harmless faction. If fundamentalists groups could block Gonzales' confirmation it might open some eyes.
