Gephardt is giving a very moving concession. |
|
It's downright heartbreaking . It's terrible to watch a man's dream fall apart. Reminds me of the way I felt watching Gore's concession.

Gephardt's speech was moving, gracious and focused on helping the Democrats beat Bush.
I've always been, and remain, a big fan. He's a democratic warrior.

but what is great is that we have 7 other strong democrats to take the torch from him.
Gephardt is a true blue collar Democrat and should be praised. Definetly not perfect but I'd be proud to have him in the WH compared to chickenshit we have now.

7. He just gave a awsome concession speech... |
|
And the message is we (we meaning Democrats) must win the White House in 04! Some people here need to learn that also.

I saw parts of it, and that was enough to convince me that we have a good, solid warrior to help us out in Missouri in 2004.

12. That was certainly the implication. |

It's not official, but his words leave very little doubt. He seemed on the verge of tears, and I hate to see that.

15. It's sad but not as bad, not nearly as bad, as when Gore was cheated |
|
out of the presidency, which he legitimately won, by a rightwing junta.

He was never my top choice. But every time I heard him speak, I was inspired. I am sorry to see him drop out so quickly, but heartened, and not surprised, to see that his focus remains on the ultimate goal.

I feel really bad that he has lost another shot at his dream of becoming President. He has wanted it for so long.
We should all be really proud that he is one of us. He has served his country and his party with honor.
Is he going to run for re-election or will he want a cabinet post when we take back our White House?
