A theory about the 2004 election. |

I have noticed something interesting about the last election. Women candidates in both parties did poorly.
On the (D) side Betty Castor, Inez Tennebaum, Denise Majette, That woman running for Governor of Washington State, and That women running for Congress from Louisiana lost their respective election.
On the (R) side That woman running against Chet Edwards lost an election in a district that was republican, and other GOP women lost.
Could it be that because of the terrorism issue and national security, women were at a disadvantage because they were not perceived as "macho" and strong like their male counterparts.
Just something I have been thinking about.

1. Read Lakoff's "Don't Think of an Elephant". See where women |

stand in the Strict Daddy world. (or should I say, kneel?)
