War protest near major shopping mall in Reading, PA.
The wife and I are navigating around the Berkshire Mall today (Sat. the 11th) and right on the main thoroughfare between the mall and Toys R US there were half a dozen folks holding war protest signs and one guy was dressed as the Grim Reaper. I tooted the horn and gave them a thumbs up for their efforts. Folks, the place was a madhouse with shoppers. These people are truly an inspiration! BTW, my car proudly displayed my new blue "Bring Our Troops Home" ribbon.

1. It is just a matter of time before the protests get bigger
and more widespread. Props to those protestors today.

2. we had two more join us this week
there are four of us that have been protesting since they started hinting at going to war. Several months ago we had one man join us on a regular basis and this week two more showed up wanting to join us.
Lots of positive responses, barely any negative ones. Although we had a young puke in daddy's SUV swerve at us - little jerk.

I've been wanting to protest, but have not heard of any in this area.

Edited for typo.

5. we joined a group that just decided to protest
the original protesters quit after the war started, but we continue on.

Just do it - make a sign, pick a well traveled corner, pick a day and time and get out there. Others will follow.

4. Goddess40, were you there today in Berks?
I don't get to that mall very often, usually we go to the closer Fairgrounds Square Mall(I'm in Muhlenberg Twp behind the WAWA on Rt. 61). That was so awesome to see you guys out there telling it like it is! And you know what I mean when I say it was jam-freaking packed with cars and shoppers.
