1. I supported Kucinich in the primaries
But I always admired Dean's enthusiasm. I think the now infamous scream that supposedly took him out of the running was a joke. Any one of our candidates in a fair fight could have kicked Bush's ass. But there's little that's fair these days about our current corporatized media and voting processes.

That said, I support Dean for DNC Chair because he's the only man we've got today with the will and vision to take the party and the country in a new direction, away from our current mess.

2. I was and will always be a Clarkie,
Edited on Sun Dec-12-04 11:15 AM by MyPetRock
but Dean or Donnie Fowler should chair the DNC. We need a progressive grass roots activist running the show this time. If it doesn't happen the DNC can delete me from their donor list.

p.s. The Green Party was the last recipient of a political contribution from me. They will be getting my dollars from now on unless the DNC changes its tune, big time. I haven't given up all hope. This chairmanship choice will say a lot about the DNC's intentions.

3. Dean YES but gotta get Kirk involved; co-chair, something prominent
And we better get Bill Richardson or another prominent representative of US Latin culture. This isn't quotas, it's respect and mobilization. Cut the bull shit and stop acking people to vote for you with out representation in the party heirarchy.

Such bold thinking is necessary for us to win. :wtf:, Dean and Kirk and divide things up and hit the bricks. Maybe a Latin co chair also.

4. At first I wasn't to sure about Dr. Dean in the DNC
But the more I think about it, the more I like Dean in this role. The more I hear the Democratic party talk, the angrier I get. Dr. Dean is the most forthright and honest voice we have right now.

I think Dean will give the party a common voice, enthusiam, and direction. He's got more energy than a box of firecrackers!

5. I was on the fence about Dean for DNC today
until he said on MTP that he would like it. Personally I'd rather he run for Prez in 08.

I chose support Dean in Primaries and DNC Chair.

6. I think Dean is one of the better choices out there.
We definitely do not need another establishment party hack, unless we're ready to just put the party out of its misery.

10. We need a fighter and
I have the feeling that Dean IS one. My second choice would be Donnie Fowler, but no one seems to be even mentioning his name right now..

11. Interesting thing here
80% of supporters of other candidates want him to be DNC chief.

The DNC needs an extreme makeover and we are all paging Dr. Dean.
