Joke money with Bush's picture on a $200 bill.

It was over the summer and my uncle brought to my grandfather and said, "I've got some money for you to burn." (My grandfather is a lifelong Dem. who gave me and my sister money after we volunteered for Kerry.) My Repug aunt snatched it and asked if she could keep it because she likes to collect things with W's picture on it.:puke::puke::puke:

She, as of July still believed that WMD's would be found and felt that nothing Bush could ever do would be as bad as Monica/Clinton. Thankfully she and her husband are the only flaming freepers in the family. They spent the whole party spouting Hannity and Rush.

someone had a stamp in the shape of a speech bubble with the words "I Grew Hemp" and put it so George Washington is saying it. it is true he did grow hemp (essential product that it is), yet it is still hilarious to see. kept that bill, one of my faves.

people are talking about doing this to get the message out everywhere about the government's involvement with 9/11. According to my reading of the law on defacing currency, it does not apply to merely writing on a bill, but actually mutilating or destroying it so that it cannot be used. And even if it does apply, the fine is $100 or six months. Be almost worth it to see them get bogged down trying to chase down the hundreds of people who would do this. I would suggest that if you decide to, wear gloves (no fingerprints) and do handwriting unlike your own. If you get a stamp made, that could ultimately be traced back to you. Keep up the good fight, you crazy rascals!

Doing the Farmer's Market we collect a few hundred one dollar bills each week. A simple stamp... for example "Bush Lies" on about 25% of them.... of course I wouldn't break the law, but funny enough they seem to be getting around!
