Please stop counting the votes ....
If you keep it up, Kerry will end up with the most votes and will have to take over the mess that awaits in the next four years. Bush is probably on his knees every night praying to that Great Philosopher in the Sky that somehow the votes will be found? And he could slip out of another mess, like he has done his entire life. But his gut tells him (his gut talks to him a lot) that he is going to have to walk this lonesome valley all by himself. Neither Poppy not James Baker can get him out of this debacle.

No matter what he says or does, nobody seems to mind. No matter how insane or absurd his statement, they accept it as official policy. Hell, he can even say he wants to borrow $2 trillion dollars to make up for the shortfall in the Social Security fund he is stealing for his friends on Wall St and nobody hardly murmurs a word? What does he have to do to get people to take him seriously? He doesn't want this job anymore. This "presidencin'" is hard! Please find enough votes so I can leave this job, he prays.

2. No way! Bush wants to be in charge more than anything
He isn't praying for this because he still doesn't believe anything is wrong. It's a mess, for sure, but I would feel much more confident with Kerry at the helm than Shrubo.

3. You would rather have us have to clean up 8 years of bush???
Bush is quite happy to ride this sinking ship all the way down. He truly believes that no matter what happens it is God's will and he is God's vessel.

6. Unfortunately I saw the serious version of this. Now and in 2000
From naive people that somehow were thinking that with the looting and the killing some responsibility will come to BFEE.

5. No offense, but I can't take another 4 weeks of this shite...
much less another 4 years. And I don't want to have to leave the country and start my life over somewhere else.

9. No, Keep Counting...
just in case something DOES break! I agree with all that you said and I've even gone out on a limb to say that I think Cheney is going to jump ship sometime after the Inauguration! That will leave the Little Lord looking more ridiculous than ever. Cheney's heart really isn't in good shape and they will be needing to find someone to carry the mantle in 2008.

In a way, maybe it's really better this way and that Kerry isn't sitting in the WH, but to find that he really might have won is just another nail in El-Smirkle-Roy's coffin! While I see chaos all around us here in America we're just going to have to "bite the bullet" and hope for the best. The dollar is down, we have troops being killed almost daily, the economy doesn't look very good, our energy policy sucks, the deficit is growing by leaps & bounds, we're in debt up to our ears, other countries hate us, we live in a theocracy and we can blame MOST of this on the REPUKES! It would seem that it's just a matter of time before SOMETHING real sticky is going to "glomerate" all over them and they aren't going to be able to get it off!
