Do we need the confirmation from Republicans that it's fine?

Even if all the Republicans lined up tommorow and swore by their mothers and God that social security needed reform, I'd stand up to them and stand up for the principles of government responsiveness to its citizens and the need for some sort of welfare state...

Facts don't lie...social security works...the people in government are tampering with it to either change it, or change the budget conditions so as to necesitate a cut in benefits..."Starve the Beast" strategy...
