So will Kerry vote in favor of the Intelligence Reform Bill...
I was just thinking about the other day when the votes came out in the House for the Intelligence Reform Bill, when will the Sentate be doing its part?

Also do you guys think Kerry will be voting for it? Does anyone know which Senators might not vote for it?

1. I think his vote will give the public a good insight of what type a
President he might have been. Will he be a push over and vote with the majority or will he stand?

The only Senators to vote against the bill were James Inhofe (R-OK) and Richard Byrd (D-WV).

These Senators did not vote...

Bond (R-MO)
Campbell (R-CO)
Harkin (D-IA)
Hatch (R-UT)
Hollings (D-SC)
Inouye (D-HI)
Lott (R-MS)
Nickles (R-OK)
Smith (R-OR)

Everybody else voted in favor of it.

The vote took place on 12/8.

11. I'm represented by...
Specter and Santorum so there is no way in hell that I'd ever vote for either of them anyway!

Sorry you were disappointed in Durbin. A lot of good liberal senators voted for and I lost some faith in Feingold (only nay vote on the PATRIOT ACT) for example.

3. During the campaign
did he say that he would pass all of the recommendations of the 9/11 comission into law? And since that's more or less what this bill is, it shouldn't surprise anyone that he voted for it.

4. Inhofe and Byrd were the only Senators to vote against it
the rest voted for it. there were a few who did not vote at all and i assume that's because they weren't there.

5. It was already voted on. Byrd was the only Dem Sen to vote against it.
Where were you last week. Oh, in the House, 6 Democrats, including Kuicnich and McDermott, voted against it.

6. I hadnt heard much about it on the news...
I think the house voting on it was in the media spotlight alot more than the senate vote.

7. With leaders like Pelosi and Reid, we might as well not expect much.
