Taking over the world - part 1
Ah yes, taking over the world. isn't that every young person's dream? to have total power, the ability to force your will on others while at the same time not giving a shit about them. oh yes, i know much about taking over the world. for it is happening right now.

what i want though is to see people stand up for freedom and what is right, or at the very least stand against what is wrong. we can all tell, right now, that "something" is wrong in the world - in America. the problem is that we have given so much of our personal power, our time, and our lives to corporations and businesses, that we as individuals have very little power left. and then these rich republican dicks find every little fucking social problem we humans have and exploit it. gay marriage, abortion, etc.. regardless of how anyone feels about these things personally, America is about freedom, and that includes the freedom to make choices that not everyone agrees with. look, "gay marriage" only affects those who are gay and want to get married. it is not anyone else's place to dictate their own personal beliefs as law. do gay people try to force you to be gay? no. do gay people tell you that you can not get married? no. laws should protect our rights, not take them away. by nature, NOTHING is illegal. we as a society have to be very careful what we make illegal because making something illegal equals a loss of freedom. but that's beside the point actually..

what's going on here is that, just like Hitler did in the 1930's, the fuckers in power are exploiting our fears, dividing the country, and turning us against one another while they do whatever the fuck they want to do. we must come together as a race of decent people and not let petty personal judgments get in the way of all of us doing what is right. we all make decisions that are right for us as individuals. what makes this country great is that we are not all the same. we should be free to celebrate our differences; not try to force what we have chosen as our path in life onto others. personal freedom must be protected at all costs, otherwise we are just giving our freedom away to whoever is currently best at conning us out of it.

people react in different ways when the shit goes bad, and it has been going really bad ever since Bush and company stole the 2000 election. many people turn to God in times of trouble. and then the people in power who made things so bad draw to their side the very people they have hurt. and they do it quite easily by claiming "God is on their side". unfortunately, god is not gonna just show up and say, "these republican assholes who have taken over the country are lying to you and they are evil". just not gonna happen. therein lies the pitfall of "belief based purely on faith". now don't get me wrong, i'm all for freedom of religion. you see, those of us that don't "believe" have no problem with people that choose to believe, it's the fact that the people that do believe can be so easily manipulated that we have a problem with. and that leads to the really big problem we as a country are facing now. the "founding fathers" saw this potential problem, which is why there is supposed to be, and needs to be, a separation of church and state.

the republicans are using otherwise decent religious people to back their bullshit agenda by telling them what they want to hear. even though they are full of shit and liars, people believe them, out of faith, because they have been fooled into believing that george bush is a "good christian". they are so easily fooled because they believe based on faith, not facts. carl rove designed all this shit. he's got us all confused by making everything as complicated as possible. bush himself is an idiot - like a puppet. and like most puppets it's not the actual puppet that matters, but who is pulling the strings. rumsfeld, chaney, rove and others. these guys have turned the people of this country against each other through lies, manipulation, and exploitation.

so my job is not to take over the world, but rather to point out that the world, or at least this country, has already been taken over - by fascist assholes.
