Operation Red Alert: by Americans for Common Sense

For those of you who don't know, Operation: Red Alert is an effort that has been started right here at dKos. Basically, we craft short, concise messages that highlight news items that attack Republicans (and potentially faux-democrats) and/or market Democratic principles, distribute them through an email list, and post them on local bulletin boards. Our target audience is people who don't pay much attention to the news, and who vote based on that 'gut instinct' thing.
We have only just begun, and early reports from members of OpRA have been encouraging. People are stopping to read our messages, and as the effort grows, we may really have a positive effect on the electorate. Join us today, and help us wake the sleeping giant known as the people.

I encourage you to join us in this effort. The more minds we have contributing, the better our messages will be. Eventually, we will combine our weekly messages with on-topic LTEs, talk radio call-in, and so forth.

2. late night kick

Trying to get some activist active.

I posted 9 tonight. 8 of ten from last week were still up so all I had to do was replace them, one had a comment written on it, so people are reading them. The area they are posted in are rurual stores and small town rural community of Bastrop county TX east of Austin.

Laundromats!!!!!!!!!! These all seem to have bulletin boards and the audience needs to vote our way!
