3. I can't believe people give money to Jerry Falwell ...

He said on that video, "Chase down and kill the terrorists all over the world, blow them away in the name of the Lord."

Man! Sincerely, when Jerry meets Saint Peter at the pearly gates, "He's got some explaining to do!" What a twisted philosophy ... IMHO not Christian in the least.

I thought my great uncle who was a Baptist minister in Texas was freaky. He would wrap parts of a freshly cut onion in a handkerchief so he could shed tears as he pounded the pulpit.

But Jerry Falwell pulls out all the stops. A minister that uses military jargon of infantrymen (used to insulate one's emotions before going into battle) to promote killing people = "blow them away." When is he apt to quip, "End their day!" or "hit them with a bomb then watch them rain all day and all night!"

I understand why the Infantry talks callously in order to divorce themselves from their emotions on the battlefield, but a man who claims to be a Christian Minister?

Truly unbelievable. :(

4. Jerry Falwell....

has disgusted me since his appearance on Meet The Press. He explained his beliefs and they were the most extreme right wing nut job type views ever.

Down with Falwell; down with his kind.

I have found Falwell to be disgusting for decades. Every time there is someone in the WH who talks about God, Falwell seems to think they are referring to him.

Ever listen to any of his followers? Ever look into their eyes?
