While I was looking for a biography on Dick Cheney to add to my forums, I came across the white house page.

Do you guys see the black lines of edited content? I viewed the source and it seemed like spanish but when I translated it, barely any words translated...


Am I the only one who see's these black censor lines in his bio?

It's not the White House's web site. You are at www.whitehouse.ORG, the real one is at www.whitehouse.GOV

I didn't realize it at first either. The site is actually pretty funny.

7. The text is greeking. . .

nonsense words written to seem like it is Latin. It's used extensively in Graphic Design, in place of text which has not yet been written, so the design ideas can proceed and the copywriter catch up to it later. As this is a parody site, I imagine the Greeking is intended for humorous effect.
