My experience with two Dean supporters....
I posted on Dean's blog. I put in a quick word of encouragment, noting that Dukakis finished third in '88, then I put in a good word for Edwards.

Anonther responed to my post on the blog, calling Edwards "slime" among other things.

I emailed her and she just shot back with more names, and said if I ever emailed her again she will report me. I was nothing but nice in my email.

Then a Dean supporter emailed me from the blog, saying he would never support Dean and would vote Green over Edwards - and he told me to fuck off.

I understand the sore feelings, really I do. I just hope some Dean supporters don't harbor long-standing resentments.

What happened to ABB?

1. I don't want any one to take this the wrong way...
But where do you think they get their anger from?

2. I've heard similar accounts like this about all the candidates' supporters

It's not specific to any one campaign. I think it's partially a result of all of the negative attacks that have been flying around. Gephardt was the source for many of those attacks on Dems, so maybe the primary will calm down a bit now that he is bowing out.
