This is infuriating
Here is what this small town right-wing newspaper thinks of people like us. Anybody care to join me in setting the record straight?

MoveOn, the group whose Web site spread ridiculous stories about President Bush for the past year, has a new target – the Democratic Party. The organization is circulating an e-mail calling the party's leadership "professional election losers" and outgoing national chairman Terry McAuliffe a tool of corporate donors.

It promises to "take back" the party from "elite Washington insiders," who have deserted the traditioinal Democratic base.

This takes nerve. This is a group that is funded by George Soros, a multi-billionaire, and that turned moderate voters off in droves with its wild rants. It's not Terry McAuliffe that's the party's problem, it's outfits like MoveOn.

What ridiculous stories or wild rants do you think they're talking about? I've never heard them mention any right-wing rants before plus I've never heard them mention anything about Richard Mellon-Scaife's funding of the right. God this kind of shit pisses me off.

2. George Soros
has spent millions of dollars trying to bring open democracy to many former communist countries. He is using his resources for the first time here because he sees this country falling into the same sort of thing he has seen with his own eyes. He supports democracy and they hate him for it.

7. Yup, mention Mellon-Scaife and they go "Who?"
MoveOn did not turn moderate voters off, unless moderate voters are turned off by the truth. What ridiculous stories did MoveOn spread? Seriously, can someone name ONE? On the other hand, do they attack the Swift Boat Veterans for "Truth" about their lies? Hell no! Why? BECAUSE THEY WORKED (and because the "Observer" agrees with their tactics)!
