imagine if a minority ran for office the way Bush does
what if a minority wanted to run for president and they were someone who could not speak well, ignorant of many issues and unable to discuss them, bragged about how they got low grades in school, and had the drugs and alcohol problem.

would this minority candidate be seen as a "regular guy" that connects with the "average" person ? or would they be seen as a lazy person with a criminal past who got by on special preferences ?

1. Imagine if the security guard at Rite Aid did his job the way
Bush did his- sat around reading a book while burglars broke into the building and maybe even killed someone. How fast would he be fired? How quickly would he be re-hired? What kind of praise would be heaped all over him for the "superb" job he did?

2. are you kidding. if a black person mangled the english language the way
bush does he would be called an idiot. OU use to have a black coach, that was not a good speaker, well the local radio guy's use to give him hell for it. but those same guy's just don't seem to have a problem with bush's problems. go figure.

3. No kidding
The MSM would be all over a minority candidate of they acted like Bush. Have you ever seen "Black Bush" by Dave Chappelle? It addresses what you're talking about in a comedic way.

5. It's a skit on Chapelle's Show on Comedy Central
They usually show old episodes a few times a week, and it may also be available on the internet.
