Before I go to bed, you down with ABB? |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 12:03 AM by jpgray
Just to get some positive stuff on here. I think we have a real chance to cream Bush here, and a crop of excellent candidates to do so.

I'll never vote for Joe Lieberman and recently, I don't think I'll ever vote for Kerry, but that may change.

15. A Choice Between Warmongers? |
|
How much of a choice really exists between Warmonger A and Warmonger B? Democrats are forgetting that antiwar Democrats vote. I'm definitely planning to vote in November, but definitely not planning to vote for a warmonger.
Kerry is really unacceptable to a lot of us. It's a good thing to keep in mind as the selection process continues . . .

16. Absolutely, and anyone who isn't is just, well, I don't know what to say. |
|
I understand the primaries, this is our 'playoffs'. But the general election is the real deal and anyone who wouldn't vote for whoever is the Democratic nominee is, in my opinion, letting their own selfishness get in the way. If my candidate doesn't get it, I'm fine with that. Well, not really, but for the sake of my future, the future of my children, the future of my country, I will vote for whoever it is.

Folks, we gotta go for broke. Keep in mind that a vote for anyone but the Dem nominee is a vote for Bush. If you love your country, mom, apple pie and the right to play video games....Bush has got to go.

In the unlikely event the two pro-war candidates (Dean/Clark) get there, I'll not be pulling that lever, and I will not be alone. Dont forget it. Not everyone signs up for cheap ad campaign slogans like "support the troops" (c.1991) or ABB. Our country deserves better than that.

39. And there's an election you'll be handing to Bush |
|
The belief that IWR is, first of all equal to "pro war" and second that an IWR candidate is somehow equally as bad as Bush is COMPLETELY asenine. Hopefully you're a slim minority. After what happened in Iowa, I think you are.

45. I'm voting against the war. Unlike the pro-war candidates. |
|
As for "handing the election to Bush", you should be looking to the timid Democrats who would rather vote for war than against it. They're easy to find, all 3 of them are senators.
We'll see about the "slim minority". You're probably right, but even slim minorities can make a difference.
