1. Did Dean ever thank Iowan voters who voted for him? |
|
I couldn't recall from watching it the first time.

This is his first televised speech to my knowledge after the end of the caucuses.
He did just thank his Iowa leader and her "people" but not the voters.
He thanked Tom Harkin.
He thanked three unions.
He thanked all the people who "came from all over America" but not Iowa voters.
He DID NOT THANK the people who went to the caucuses. I hope he does a press release doing so.

I assume that Iowa's voters are, indeed, people.

11. I hope non Dean supporters will take the high road. There are few |
|
opportunities in life to do just that.

13. Okay, to be very nice, this is not Dean's best effort |
|

His style is not for everyone and this concession speech is one of his weaker attempts. It does not diminish the magnitude of the work he's done, but he can be rather grating.
New Hampshire is really going to be interesting now, though...very interesting!

16. Dean has motivated an important group of voters with his fiesty |
|
style. We need his help to beat Bush. The more I watch the speech the less it bothers me.

17. Haven't seen the speech but... |
|
it sounds like this is the Dean that his supporters love. From reading about it here I think he's just mainly trying to rally his troops. They love the fired up Dean and that's what he's giving them.
I think we'd all be making a huge mistake to count Dean or his support out now.
This week leading to NH is going to be an amazing ride! I can't wait!
