3. There have been reports of him having an IQ of 91, |
|
but I do think it is an urban legend....I mean how the hell did they get that number? Besides, he is not genuinely stupid....He is pigheaded, stubborn, bossy, elitist, arrogant, anti-academic intellectualism, along with numerous other bad qualities....I do not think he is as dumb as his manner of speaking would let on....Underestimating people can be dangerous...I always try to get people to underestimate me in competitive situations to get people to let their guard down - then I swoop in for the kill....we underestimated him and look at this mess.

4. It's a dangerous thing to underestimate your enemy.... |

We shouldn't let the fact that we hate the bastard fool us into thinking he is really stupid. You might not like to think of him this way but he is anything but stupid. Evil, yes, stupid, no.

the ones with the intelligence. To misoverestimate his intellectual abilities is not necessary needed to put food on our families when they are not fighting for the freedoms of our peoples but killing the evil doers and thugs around the world. So there!:P

but he does not demonstrate an inquiring mind.
He was terrible during the debates. Even an ear piece didn't help.
He talks "plain English" because he does not string words together.
Let's put it this way, he is not a rocket scientist.
It is a damn shame that this is the quality that we sink to in the USA.
I would not trust any IQ test at Yale for a Bush. They fix any and everything to enhance their power.

10. presenile dementia, remember? |
|
I don't think he's an idiot... but he obviously has problems.
Some of his gaffes are "endearing" to the redneck public, but not all.
Especially not his stuttering during the first debate.

11. Reagan was no Einstein either. Americans seem to have a 'Forrest |
|
Gump' complex. The more idiotic what a President says and does, the higher his poll ratings among the dumbed down, tabloid-mentality, superstitious masses.
Maybe Democrats would do better recruiting from losers of Jay Leno's man-in-the street quiz show, rather than from Oxford-educated Rhodes Scholars.

It's not a question of stupidity of the red staters. There's a difference between writing speeches that sound pretty and clear, and actually being able to talk to midwesterners and rural voters. Clinton had that ability; Bush has that ability; Kerry didn't. Reagan said a lot of stupid shit, and he didn't earn the accolades of many english professors, but he had an ability to communicate with the nation as a whole.
We don't need to pick an idiot, it's just a manner of picking the right smart person. Another foriegn-educated Oxford person isn't the right way to go. That only raises the red alert in the insular midwest and south.

14. You don't fly supersonic jets with a 91 IQ. |
|
Stop underestimating him. Just because we don't like him, and we disagree with him, does not mean he is dumb. You don't get a Harvard MBA with a 91 IQ. And No, Poppy's money didn't get the MBA for him. Harvard is awash with rich family's kids and the offspring of political families. The Bush family, in that crowd is "middle class".
And, Bush did get about 600 flight hours in the F-102, and you can't be stupid and fly supersonic aircraft.
It is better that we face reality, than take comfort in bullshit.

15. I don't know if it's true or not |
|
but I've seen enough to be convinced the boy ain't right.
He can't speak without a written script, and often he can't even speak WITH one.
He showed in the first debate what his mental capacity is. He showed it in the Q/A of the UNITY conference. He showed it on 9/11.
I don't know whether his IQ is 91 or not, but this man is not at the intellectual level we need in the leader of the free world. Greed, evil, and general corruption aside... (Of course that does beg the question of whether we're better off with an evil genious or an evil idiot, but that's another topic.)

I always felt that Bush wasn't stupid at all. He is just a horrible speaker and for some reason people find it endearing, and since he seems to not mind the jokes they love him more. It's too strange to describe. My mom is a hardcore Bush lover and she thinks it's 'cute' when he slips up.

but more than two decades of cocaine, pot, and alcohol abuse would take a toll on that particuar organ. He shows signs of presenile dementia caused by drug and alcohol abuse.

18. on his test to get in they had him scored at 25 |
|
that is the lowest score you could get to make it in. and it was white out so the suggestion is there the score was lower and was given the 25 to get him in
he had poor grades throughout school. one can speculate a bit that because of who he was, his c may well have been lower but was given to him because of his connection
he advocates not reading
now,........you want me to believe he is brilliant
to have power and be able to abuse that power does not make you brilliant, merely without a conscience and willing to do whatever without repercussion
