Elliot Spitzer and Bernard Kerik
Why isn't Spitzer nailing Kerik's ass. Kerik has enough skeletons to fill a walk-in closet. It should be a slam-dunk - to borrow George Tenet's phrase.

2. Because he broke the law ...
... and Giuliani probably knew about it. What good is an Attorney-General if he isn't going after the crooks?

3. Spitzer's MO
Spitzer looks for causes that he can use to shape social standards. Kerik is just a low life weenie.

I would like to see him get pinned with something, but if not, the common knowledge that he is a crook, thief, liar is pretty damn satisfying.

5. It is not an AG's job to go after all the "crooks." We have DA's and
Federal prosecutors for that. Kerik has crossed so many lines that a number of investigative agencies can take a shot at him if they choose. Spitzer needs to concentrate on replacing the empty suit now occupying the Gov's mansion, not picking at the corpse of Kerik's hubris.

PS: Welcome to DU.
