The privatization of the presidency.

Actually, the president became the head of a private business the day George W. Bush was sworn in. Look at the record.

Feeding and supplying our army was privatized to Halliburton.

Clean air and water was privatized to companies who foul clean air and water.

Corporate crime became privatized activities supervised by John Ashcroft.

Voting machines became privatized and election results are whatever we're told they are.

But why rehash all this (and so much more). Just concentrate on what we have to look forward to: privatized social security; privatized Medicare; privatized police and fire departments. Hey, I've got an idea. How about a privatized congress and judiciary who belong to the highest bidder? Oh, sorry, I forgot. We already have that, don't we?

1. isn't it frustrating...

to see our government go to the highest bidder? There are just some public programs that don't work well when profit is involved, because of that good ole element of human greed. I take chances on the stock market with my 401k, I don't want to do the same with what I pay into Social Security. Where's the "Security" in placing that money in the market, when the cost to finance the transition will undoubtedly drive the dollar to new lows?

What's more amazing is the ignorance and stupidity of the American people. There's no outcry around me, nobody is talking about what a terrible idea this is. The "sheeple" elected Bush and are happy to go about their business while he destroys this country and others. How can 59,000,000 people be so stupid? :shrug:

3. Everything I ever read about investing says not to invest what you can't

afford to lose. My Soc Sec would be something that I can't afford to lose. I've never seen anything to the contrary in any investment advise.

4. How about if we privatize the printing of money and turn it over to...

...hmmmm, that's a tough one. The Bush family? The Saudis? Halliburton? Ah, well, the choices are endless. Who would you suggest?

The new "One Dollar Bill" will be printed on soft, absorbant paper--using nontoxic inks.

That way, it can have some value.
