Poppy wanted to give Jimmy a piece of his mind
According to a TIME interview this week with Poppy Bush, he was tempted to go to Jimmy Carter at the Clinton Library thing and say (sarcastically) "Well what do you think of your good friend Michael Moore, now?" or something like that--because MM was sitting in President Carter's box at the Democratic convention.

Poppy hates MM and also said that Kitty Kelly's book was full of "half truths" hmm, well that must mean that there must be some truth to those halfs.

1. I am getting sick of that scumbag poppy
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 06:05 PM by LiberalFighter
His address is 10000 Memorial Dr, Houston TX 77024

Further research shows it to be on the 9th floor.

That does look like a sham address though because there are other people with same address.

33. Technically, it was Iranian gas that killed the Kurds.
Survivors said it smelled like almonds and the gas Saddam used did not have that odor. However, they were both using gas at the time and we probably sold Iran the gas they were using anyway.

34. Actually Iran was bombing at the same time
Actually the reason Hussein was gassing the kurds was because Iran was bombing that part of the country containing the Iraqi National Guard. We ALSO PAID FOR THOSE BOMBS with money Poppy Bush funneled to Iran from Israel. But it WAS Hussein that used the bombs with the WMD !!!

45. Have you read 'House of Bush, House of Saud'?
It goes over a lot of the connections between the Bush/Texas crew and the Saudis, and has a lot about how we were supporting Iran and Iraq at various points. It's very interesting to say the least.

Bush on Clinton: "I was tempted to lay into him after he criticized my son"

Bush on his son's critics: "It makes me so angry...I really want to go after them"

Bush on Carter: "I was tempted to go to Jimmy Carter and say..."

26. Carter goes about making significant change to people's lives
Poppy just sucks at the national teat and whines.

Carter builds home for low income families, has a center to help international relations, writes thought provoking books and oversees foreign elections (guess he should have stayed closer to home and kept an eagle eye out on 11/2) all since he LEFT the oval office. Carter is dedicated to leaving the world a better place after he is gone. Carter is a religious person who lives is faith, he is someone we would all be proud to call father, son, or friend. Carter has done more in his "retirement" years than Poppy ever could in five lifetimes.

Meanwhile, Poppy tries to come up with a new world order through the PNAC, get rich through the Carlyle Group, plays golf, draws his pension, avoid Babs and whine. You can expect the same behavior from Dim Son when he leaves office (if he's not doing time in a federal prison - from my keyboard to God's ears!).

Yeah, Poppy, take your best shot. You are just like BushyBoy - all hat and no cattle. Please, let loose, we all need a good laugh.

perhaps sappy is only because he'll have a second term to wreck the entire world.. At least poppy had the intelligence to acknowledge some of the mistake he made while still in office.

If everything had gone exactly as poppy planned, Jimmy and Michael might be unknown tortured occupants locked in the same underground prison cell.

Poppy in his wildest dreams should not consider engaging in a battle of wits with President Carter, there would be bush blood all over the asphalt after a brief but cutting dust up. I was privileged to hear an interview on PBS with Jimmy Carter during the DNC and I was amazed at the mental acuity and articulation of this man who is 80+ (?). His wisdom and insight make a wish he had been running in 2004. A great American and a heck of a nice guy but not to be taken lightly.
