Clark team "confused" on how to attack someone other than Dean
So said the ABC correspondent with Clark in New Hampshire on last night's Nightline.

Finally, some truth from the media...and a good laugh after a tough night. :D

1. Please
Clark has been beating up on Dean??

The guy Dean called a Republican? The guy Trippi said deserved to be showered with negative leaflets at his own meetings?

Give me a break.

2. That's just what the nice lady on TV said
Don't kill the messenger.

Oh, and Clark supporters have just been delightful to us on DU. :eyes:

3. You seem to be confused yourself
Posters on DU are not representatives of any campaign.

And Dean supporters haven't been model citizens either.

You decided to post this, gleefully. Are you backpeddling?

4. If you seriously think Dean and his DU supporters have been treated fairly
...well, then I'll just have to laugh in your face. :D

You're right about Clark representation on DU, though - *way* larger than the rest of the populace.

9. Jesus Tapdancing Christ
I have never heard such whining and self-pity in my life!

You had better start growing a thick skin if you are going to get the vapors over some flames on a internet board after a loss. Presidential Politics aren't for wusses.

My candidate has been called everything from a war criminal to a stealth republican and I never started threads crying about it like I see from Dean supporters. Some people can dish it out, but just can't take it.

10. You don't seem to be "taking it" very well in this thread
But, hey - "Some people can dish it out" - put just that on a Clark banner (at least on DU) and you're on to something.

16. I'm taking it very well, thanks
When someone attacks my candidate, I fight back. I don't whine about the number of Dean supporters on DU, who you know very well used to outnumber everyone else put together, and didn't act nice to us either. I don't expect people to pat my head and hold my hand after my candidate loses, when I know my candidate's supporters had been crowing that he was unbeatable for months and telling everyone else to give it up. I won't post conspiracy theories involving everyone from the DNC to Skull and Bones to explain away a loss.

And I won't post threads with snide remarks made by some commentator I overheard about an opponent if my candidate loses, just to feel better about myself.

11. it is sad to watch
At least before they were doing what they could to pump up their candidate. Now with such an embarassing loss, it's done out of spite.

Sad Indeed!

13. Thanks for kicking the thread again
I'll be back later to read all the rest of the nice things you guys always have to say.

Oh, and an "embarassing loss" is how Clark finished against everyone else in Iowa. "Sad Indeed!"

7. LOL, You still haven't found a new plan
With the all in out slapping around of your candidate I would think, you would have changed your ways of approaching a discussion. You see, while you follow a frame of mind that a candidate needs an "attack plan" to win an election Clark was going out speaking directly to the paople and drawing 1000's on his heartfelt beliefs.

There will be for sure at least 3 candidates taking this attack road in the next day or so; Kerry, Dean, and Lieberman and what a fine group to be part of.
