Centcom does death notice releases. They have a CASUALTY SITE specifically for death notice releases.

And for the FIRST TIME, they decided to add a bit extra to their death notice releases section, along with today's death notices:

HAMILATHANIA PRIMARY SCHOOL HOLDS RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

MANDALI, Iraq -- Civic leaders, leaders from the Iraqi National Guard and Multi-National Forces from Task Force 150 attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of improvements to the Hamilathania Primary School near Mandali.

The attendees handed out school supplies to children. The small boxes were filled with pencils, crayons and a variety of supplies that are needed for the students to be successful. The supplies were donated from people in the United States.

The 30th Brigade Combat Team, the Multi-National Forces unit responsible for Mandali, has spent more than $870,000 on projects in eastern Diyala and the Tuz area, and there are plans to spend almost $2 million more on future educational projects.

4. Just saw the movie "Control Room"-go rent it
about the media and Central Command. Very interesting, watching historical movies from 1 1/2 yrs ago, made me cry. Why wasn't this shown on TV in October (rhetorical question)?

It was not as outright manipulative as F9/11 was, about being behind the media filming the Iraq invasion up to when the US fired on AlJazeera, AbuDahbi and the hotel the other journalists were on, on the same day. As the CentCom soldier says, the Americans had to have been fired on and just defended themselves because otherwise it was too big of a coincidence. He has retired from the military after 14 yrs, or is in the process, beacuse of miltary suppression regarding the invasion.
