Name Democratic Congressmen and Senators that will vote with * |
|
On privatizing social security.
I am from a very red state with only one 'Democratic' Senator and only 2 Democratic congressmen.
I submit Evan Bayh will vote to privatize when and if it is brought to a vote.
How many others in the party will also betray the party's most successful program?

I think you are right about Senator Bayh, too. Sad to say.

I don't think Bayh will vote for it. Just a gut feeling. |

10. Well his father is the main reason why he ever got anywhere.. |
|
you have to admit he is more moderate than he should be in my opinion but of course we are talking about Indiana.
Most people in Indiana would rather vote for a member of the taliban before they would vote democrat.
So he is under alot of pressure top stay central otherwise he would never get elected here.

But I fantasize about every state having two liberal U.S. Senators.
In this fantasy, the models would be Robert Kennedy, Paul Wellstone, Ramsey Clark, Russ Feingold, etc.
In the same fantasy, in the grand finale scene, all the conservative Republican senators are rounded up like cattle and driven over a very high cliff. As they fall to their deaths, huge mythic raptors swoop in and gnaw their flesh to the bone.

list, I'm sure that Barbara Boxer (my Senator here in CA) will NOT vote with chimp as for Diane Feinstein  50/50 but I lean toward her not.

It's said that I have to type the word "think" instead of "know."

I *think* Feinstein will vote against the chimp's plan, I KNOW Boxer will against it.

can always be counted on to do what his masters wish.
Perhaps a better question might be, "Name the few Senators that will vote against * when he tries to privatize Social Security."

against the fascists is Robert Byrd. It's over people we had a good run at democracy but now the fourth Reich has arisen.

15. New England Repubs are not gonna go with Bush |
|
Sen. Olympia Snow of Maine will most likely vote against privatization. So will Sen. Lincoln Chafee (RI) in all likelihood.

13. I heard Mitch McConnell on one of |
|
the Sunday shows say that some of the Red State Dems will be voting with them on Social Security. How can it be that 100 selfish, greedy assholes can decide the fate of millions of people? Did we do this?
