Hey Howard Dean, I got something to say to you........
Just because you took third in Iowa, doesn't mean you should change your strategy. Keep up with what made your supporters notice you.

No, not the anti-war stuff. I mean the passion.

You see, I'm a Kucinich supporter - and he will get my vote-, but I did take in a rally you had here in Tucson last summer. You lit the place up. Your words held fire and electricity shot through the air. I walked out of that building wanting to take on the world. Whenever I get down, I listen to my microcassette recording of your speech and it pumps me up. Doctor Dean, you make people believe that they can change the world and make up difference, I know this because that is how you made me feel.

You have a movement behind you. Granted, you aren't in my top couple of choices, yet I truly believe you would make a great president. You are a great candidate in a field of several great candidates. You have legions of diehard supporters who believe in you. They love your candor. Your passion. Your fiery oratory. So for God's sake, don't quit being the guy so many people have flocked to in the last 9 months.

If you lose the nomination go down swinging. Go out kicking and screaming just the same as you entered this race. Do it for your supporters. Your rabid followers who are so intense about you and your vision.

So roll up those sleeves, tighten up that top button on your shirt and stick with the Maverick politics.

Don't abandon those warriors out there fighting for you.

2. Thanks
It'sreally niceto see someone who gets it. You don't have to supprt Dean to get my respect. Just show an understanding of what's going on. I appreciate your objectivity.

4. you are welcome
I like Dean. A lot. About as much as I like Clark. I just happen to like Kucinich, Edwards and Kerry a little better.

I don't like all the trashing of the candidates posts. The fact is Dean would be an excellent president. I like his candor. Respect his willingness to say what is on his mind and would have no qualms were he to come back and run the table in NH, South Carolina, et. al.

5. Nothing wrong with passion
But Dean's speech was not in the same league as Edwards' or Kerry's.

Dean's inexperience on the national stage is showing. It will be critical for him to project the composure necessary for the commander of the largest nuclear arsenal in the world.

Dean also again revealed a lack of preparedness. On two other occasions--his first Meet The Press interview and last week's Brown and Black debate--he allowed strategy to eclipse substance.

I am still a supporter because of issues and his message for the future. But these are serious concerns which need to be addressed, and addressed soon.

6. Drudge's headline says Dean went nuts
Of course, it is Drudge, but Dean's speech was not his finest moment.

9. Thank you for a proactive approach to this election.
It is rare these days here at our discussion board to see such reasonable feedback. You indeed see the real target, *bush. You know that this country is in crisis, that we are truely under seige. You acknowledge the sincerity of a candidate who to sees our country in crisis.

I do not sense the other Democrats see the real problem.
