and of course they were sympathetic... his opponent, Gregoire. asked for too many recounts and the final hand count is not as accurate as the first two that Rossi won. They also gave the numbers that Rossi won by but used a percentage to describe Gregoire's win...something like .09%...I don't recall the actual number.

After the machine re-count which had him leading by 42 he declared the results conclusive and fair. "This is over" he said.
