Help Wanted for Legal Defense of a Patriot
I posted something recently on the blackboxvoting forum regarding James Dunn, a man working through a temp agency for Diebold, who provided the entire Diebold legal strategy for the qui tam. For those actions, he now faces prison time. I suggested that Bev and the board of directors devote some of their funds to his defense. I suggest helping him here as well; emailing webspinner@ix.netcom.com to get in touch.
-------------------
In response to that post, I received a rather spooky email from Bev Harris:

Daniel,

I removed your post about James Dunn, because it was based on
bad information.

1. James Dunn is not in any legal trouble whatsoever.
2. James Dunn provided an affidavit and testimony to the California
Voting Systems Panel. He didn't provide any documents.
3. The Qui Tam suit was filed in November 2003, and James Dunn
did not surface until March 2004. Therefore, his information could
not have been used in the Qui Tam.

Thanks. Be careful of your own sources, because some of them
have been spreading disinformation, apparently.

Bev Harris

1. Sounds like she's downplaying the impact his whistle-blowing (email to her)
had on her BBV fight. Whether he has provided documents or sworn testimony, he still provided needed ammo in what are her purported aims - clean voting. Why so harsh with a request for aid after he put it on the line to 'spill the beans' to her? He DID verify what she was trying to prove, even if it didn't make her $$ in her suit. If we want insiders to stand up & speak out, they won't be too reassured if they see there's no backup when they get in the deep *hit for it. Just a quick google shows he did put it on the line. I don't know what can be done to help the fellow, though. Better minds than mine will surely see this & have suggestions, & I will join in any efforts that I can. Good for you for standing up for him! Can you give any idea what his legal troubles are, without compromising his wishes? What kind of help do you suggest?

4. This is not a Bev attack thread
I only put that in to pre-empt any crap she might try to feed you. This is about James Dunn, not Bev Harris. Make your own Bev spam thread.
