NASCAR for Dean

This morning on Cold Pizza, that cute little Republibabe was interviewing some Busch series driver whose car will be decorated with "Dean For America" this season. I tuned in too late to catch his name.

I have mixed feelings on this. It's great ad, and I like the fact that one of the good ol' boys (in this case a young one) is on our side. But if this gets to be a trend, won't there be at least 70% Smirk/Dick cars? In fact, the hostess said to him, "Shouldn't you be for Bush, since you drive in the Busch Series (sic)?" OK, so she's not too bright, but she probably has a point.

BTW.. NASCAR isn't exclusive to freepers and conservatives in general. My friends and I make it up to Fontana every year, and we're all libruls!

3. The image of "Dean for President" crumpled like alumimum foil

came to my mind immediately after I thought about the car in the winner's circle.

It gave me a new spin on high stakes racing.
