When the dismantling of the New Deal is complete.
I hope Bush, Inc lovers will be satisfied.

I do not want any whining from them.

Sorry but I hope those who voted for Bush who use these programs suffer the most.

I know thats not the way to be but my god! What the hell is wrong with this country.

Like the British newspaper said...'How can that many people be so stupid!"

1. The irony is...
that The New Deal helped to create and to this day maintains a middleclass in this country with it's safety net effect.

The dittoheads are so damn brainwashed that they vote against their own survival to usher in more and more transfer of wealth to the military/corporate complex fascists running this country.
Very un-American.
Stupid yellow ribbon stickered flag wavers.

It's no wonder considering the education system the last 30 years. Civics? What's that?

4. People have been heavily propagandized
It started with the cold war demonization of Communism as 'the enemy'; then they associated all forms of economic socialism with oppressive totalitarian communism. Now anything that has any tinge of 'socialism' - like the New Deal - is vilified.

The next step was thru the manipulation of "The Great Deceiver", Ronald Reagan. His comment, "government is not part of the solution, it is part of the problem", his "welfare queens" and his "big government is bad" crap.

Taken together, the propagandizing of America was complete. Any program whereby the government helped people or whereby common goals were achieved was viewed as evil, like communism, or problematic like Reagan's big government.

5. No dear, they never are. perpetual victime they'll scream about the
8h work day and the restrictions on child labor, about the women's right to vote and the perils of abolishing slavery. And I expect to see here people defending all these things. Some intruders, some joiners.
