Jeb Bush campaigning in Indonesia for 2008 race |
|
Or is he suddenly the country's top expert on Tsunami relief? Bush received his degree in Latin American affairs in 1980 and is not a doctor, civil engineer, linguist, logistics expert, humanitarian or anything else useful at the present time.
But no tragedy of epic scale can go by without the GOP capitalising on it in some way. Surely there is some aid contract to be given to friends or contributors. Surely there are photo ops that will make Jeb look Presidential and foreign-policy knowledgable.
Campaign 2008 is under way and we're all paying for it.

3. That might be part of it, but |
|
you'd think Bush would want to showcase that twit Rice, to make her look like secretary of state material to expedite her approval. If anything, she'd be even less competent than Jebbie at assessing needs and delivering aid.
Nah, this can only be his first campaign junket of 2008.

4. He might just have experience at helping put swank resorts on beaches. |
|
And with so many poor people now off the beach property, there are some fine shoreline sites open for developement...

6. Yes it was a blatant campaign infomercial |
|
I just seen it on TV it was a blatant campaign infomercial for his running in 2008.I hope the Dems break its own rules about when to run for 2008 and pick Al Gore or General Wesley Clark to run for president ASAP for 2008.

9. I almost vomited when I saw him on TV yesterday |
|
His phony demeanor was so transparent and he obviously was in "campaign mode" while acting like he's a big natural disaster expert. Truly sickening, no pun intended.
