1. Edwards is no longer in the Senate. Kerry will be in the Middle East or
Iraq.

We have Senators?
Monday 03 January 2005 @ 09:10
I am told by David Lytell, who has been lobbying Senators to stand with Conyers that Senator Tubbs-Jones is actively considering standing up, and if she asks Senator Boxer to do the same, Boxer will stand as well.

I have no way to confirm this until tomorrow, but Lytell is giving me the phone numbers I will need to get that confirmation. He seems to think something will pop on this some time tomorrow. I will run this to ground with alacrity when the sun comes up.

(Tubbs-Jones a Senator? Thought I read on another thread that she is a Representative????...Fran)

4. There was another post about Kerry standing

But it would be pretty inadvisable for him to do it. He has to much to gain from it (by becoming president) and to much to loose by being skewered by the media. Someone else needs to fight for him, and for our election process.

found it:

6. Why should "someone else"
have to fight.....when John Kerry said, prior to the election, that he would fight for us.

Why should someone else fight if Kerry is the one that has a lot to gain from such a fight?

Looks to me like one cannot have it both ways.....Not fight so that you stay clean....and instead have someone else fight for you so that you can gain.

Sounds kinda of creepy to me.

Hell, I always thought......no pain, no gain.
