No help from Okla.
which was not unexpected but I like to bug him anyway! Jim Inhofe's response:

"Thank you for contacting me about the presidential election results in Ohio. As your voice in Washington, I appreciate being made aware of your concerns.

As you may know, Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Moyer recently dismissed challenges to the state's presidential election results. President Bush won Ohio's 20 electoral votes by a margin of 118,775 votes-which does not indicate a recount by Ohio state law. Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell said, "Elections are human endeavors and as such they are never perfect, but I can say with the fullest of confidence that this election in Ohio was perfectly inspiring." Blackwell certified Ohio's official election results on December 6, 2004.
In his concession speech Senator John Kerry stated, "I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail. But it is now clear that even when all the provisional ballots are counted, which they will be, there won't be enough outstanding votes for us to be able to win Ohio. And therefore, we cannot win this election."
Our Founding Fathers designed a Republic that listens to the voice of the people. Rest assured, I am committed to ensuring that the vote of every citizen of the United States counts.

On November 2, 2004, the voice of the American people clearly spoke in electing George W. Bush to a historic second term as President of the United States and in electing Republican majorities in the United States Senate and House of Representatives. The populace also voted resoundingly for conservative family principles in ballot measures around with about seventy-five percent of the vote.

Thank you again for contacting me with your concerns. Please do not hesitate to do so in the future if I can be of further assistance."
