I'm SICK of being slapped around like a red-headed stepchild |
|
Yessirree, we've been getting banged around for too many years by right-wing politicians, right-wing hate radio, right-wing bigots, right-wing war mongers, right-wing frothy-mouthed preachers, right-wing imbeciles, and any other right-wing lying bastards & neocon douchebags you can think of.
The Democrats need to grow some spine if they ever hope to get a little respect again. We need to stand up for ourselves, get tough, and THEN we'll get noticed.
High road shmigh road. FUCK that! We've got some tough cookies in our party, and it's time for them to start acting it.
It's time to do some slapping of our own. Label the other side for the corrupt bastards they are and NO BEATING AROUND THE BUSH ABOUT IT from now on.
Just for starters, we need to start re-phrasing things. I don't want to hear Dems say "So-and-So" from the other side shows intolerance. If the situation fits, I wanna hear us label "So-and-So" as an outright racist or bigot instead. That's the ONLY way we'll get noticed and draw some attention to the problem.
I don't ever again want to hear one of our leaders say "So-and-So" distorted the truth, especially when they're distorting it all the time. Instead, I wanna hear that Democratic leader call "So-and-So" a FLAT-OUT LIAR. "George chimpface Bush is a flat-out LIAR." What's so hard about that?
Sometimes ya just gotta get tough if you wanna get a little respect. No more pansy-ass, wuss labels for us. I've had it with that nonsense. Once we get our respect back, THEN we can get something accomplished.
As Aretha once said, It's time for A Little Respect! yeah

3. The problem is that they have an echo chamber and we don't. |
|
FOX News, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, The NY Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, countless right wing pundits who outnumber liberals two to one on any "food fight" TV show.
They've built a media empire that we can't begin to match. Even when Dems call them out for what they are, there is no "liberal media" to let people hear the truth.
About all we have right now is Air America Radio, a few other broadcasters, and not much else.
