If by chance Clark does not get the nomination... |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 12:33 PM by Democrats unite
I will happily move on to Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Kucinch, Lieberman and or Sharpton.
Primaries are Primaries. We all want to see our man win, but that doesn't always happen. In the 1992 Primaries I voted for Gore, I got Clinton & to my surprise Cliton did an excellent job (IMO). I didn't go on ranting & raving, I'll write my candidate in, or I'm voting green, I voted Democrat, because I am a Democrat. I will do the same this year also, after what I have seen that has happened to America over this past Administration, I cannot fathom America surviving another four years of *.
There are candidates I like better than others, but the message is clear * has got to go & I will happily support any candidate that happens to win the Democratic nomination.
on edit It should read voted for Tsongas & got Clinton. I voted for Gore in 1988.

But I'm OK with anyone but Lieberman or Dean...Dean would lead us to slaughter.

5. Nice sentiment--but I think Clark is for a tough run now,,, |
|
His whole national-defense/electability rationale has been co-opted by Kerry./ Could mean bad news for your guy--which is fine with me, though nothing against you.

6. Voting for a candidate simply because there is a (D) |
|
next to his name on the ballot does a disservice to our party and to our country.

10. I no longer fear that possibility |
|
I fear us going down the same road we went down in 2002 a lot more than I fear four more years of Bush.

Edwards could pull the rug out from under Clark as well. Imagine Clark and Dean both out of race on March 3rd.
