1. I'm right behind you.
If these guys get spines, I'll send them money. If they don't, the tap will run high and dry and they will deserve it!

2. Jimmy D, I hope there are a few smart enough to realize this.

This issue is a real wedge, between reality and fantasy. I've been singing the same tune. It's not just the internet community, proud new addition to the Democratic base, but the black community. Ohio 2004 and Florida 2000 are quintessentially racist crimes, voting rights violations, civil rights abuses. It the internet folks mobilized by fine sites like DU and the black community see a show of "no confidence" on their biggest issues, that show will be reciprocated. Tense times!

3. YUP, I agree completely autorank.
The base will shrink if they don't fight for the people they supposedly represent. Their cowardice will finally come back to bite them and they deserve it.

I called Sen. Bingaman's office here in NM and delivered that message. The woman on the other end understood and said it was scary....but she's not Bingaman.

6. Gloria, great feedback from that call. Bingaman's a good guy!
Hope he stands up but, hey, if not, he's still a good guy. Watched him work a little a few years back. Like his style.

4. in a similar vein . . . the internet can be the Democrats cash cow if . .
and when the party decides to start representing the people again and severs its ties to the corporate teat . . . if there's one thing that's keeping this party from doing the right thing on issue after issue, it's the fact that they get so much funding -- both for individuals and for the party itself -- from corporate sources . . . we will NEVER reclaim our heritage as the Party of the People until we break this alliance . . . and reliance . . .

Ending Corporate Governance is THE issue that supersedes and encompasses all others . . . and the one we should be focusing on . . .

5. Isn't there still 20 mil over somewhere in Kerry's account?
Is that Internet donor money you think? If so, shouldn't he give it back if he doesn't want to get "involved"?
