What crisis can prevent Jan. 6 electoral vote?
Now that MSNBC has reported that some Dems will stand with Conyers, what possible crisis can the Repubs create to prevent this? I don't trust them any farther than i can throw a feather.

5. Boxer still on the edge?
Take a look here "ACTION ALERT: Boxer May sign on as Critical Senate Component to the Contesting of the 2004 Electoral Vote" to see what happened 4 years ago when the Senate abandoned the House Democrats. It was a sad time in our nation's history.

2. The Rapture? No, wait a minute, that would solve all our problems.
All the Republicans would suddenly vanish. Talk about heaven on earth!

7. Hi "Fallingdown" ... and welcome to DU. However ...
I hate to tell you, but I decamped Texas (Dallas) last year. I am now in the mountains of western North Carolina. But all is not lost. There are still some great DUers and Democrats in the state of Texas. Keep the faith friend.

8. Don't be...Bush is a shoo-in for 4 more years.
You heard it here first. There will be no senator who will sign onto a protest, the electoral vote will be validated, then he will be inaugurated. Or in the very unlikely event that a senator does sign on, the GOP will quickly stifle any investigation and then vote to validate, pre-inauguration.

I mean, I believe in having hope, but only where there actually is a chance, ya know???

;-)

10. Does anyone know the timing of these events tomorrow?
I have some errands to run for school, but want to see this if televised (as well as the Gonzales hearing). Thanks!
