No matter what happens with the Senators tomorrow, the results won't
change. Here's why - both chambers of congress are in GOP control, and I don't see them giving it to Kerry. What I heard on AAR today is, if the Senator/s stand both the House and Senate will go to their respective chambers and debate for 2 hours and then a vote will be held. I doubt the GOP majority will turn on Bush.

That said, hopefully this will help voting issues and reform in the works. What is said in the debates in the House and Senate will be entered in the public official record.

8. The hope for 2006 lies in reform
is to get the electoral system fixed.

We need a paper trail so that elections can be audited and re-counted.

We need to eliminate voter suppression.

We need open-source software on the dre's and tabulators so that the elections can be tested and audited.

We need to remove the sanctity of our electoral process from corporate hands - everything about the elections belongs to "We The People" not corporations or individuals.

We need to dis-allow electoral leaders from partisan politics.

We also need to refom the Democratic Party and its leadership.

5. I am all for the debate and putting this in the record
This is 2 now that are questionable and put and kept this guy in the WH. I just didn't want folks to feel reamed when tomorrow night they realize Bush will still technically be "the boss" still. I refuse to say president.

4. Let the Repugs in the House/Senate appoint this President, which
along with his Supreme Court selection does NOT a MANDATE make. This way he isn't elected by the people, which is a first for a U.S. President.

I say:

"Spread democracy here before launching pre-emptive attacks on other countries that have oil to spread it there.

6. We need to work on this issue for future elections.
We need to show the evidence to the American people. We need to get it out there, so people start talking. Eventually, we'll hit a critical mass of people who believe that election at least MAY have occured, and then the politicians will do something.

12. True... But One Damaged Little Piece Of Shit President, That...
had to be installed once by the Supreme Court, and the second time by the Republican controlled House of Representatives!

The history books will have a field day with that legacy, no?
