Listen, Progs! The MAJORITY of RIGHTWINGNUTS are LIBRULS.
They just don't know it.

OUR platform is the VAST MAJORITY in America.

We DO NOT need to move LEFT or RIGHT or CENTER or anywhere at all...we just need to GET OUR MESSAGE OUT THERE.

OK so ya don't believe me about the majority of righties being libs. Well the RIGHTIES say they are THEMSELVES!

PIPA poll; the MAJORITY of bush supporters agreed with stances they thought BUSH supported.

They were WRONG.

On SIX out of EIGHT ISSUES, they'd agreed with KERRY'S STANCES and they didn't even know it.

So we don't move ANYwhere; we GET OUR MESSAGE OUT! And let THEM move to us. :D

Now. How do we get our message out there???

1. I've always thought
if you gave people a questionaire and didn't apply ANY political leaning to the questions, worded them in the most neutral, non-political way, that MOST people would fall on the side we do.

I mean, WHO doesn't want good schools?

WHO doesn't want clean air and water?

WHO doesn't want to know their vote counts and democracy is safe?

WHO is against fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets?

3. Exactly.
If our message was getting equal time with the RW message, we would consistantly be winning 60+% of the votes, imo.

HUGE problem tho, as to how we get our platform out there when the RW owns pretty much the entire US media.

2. Oh and by the way
if you could bottle your energy and passion, you could sell it for about $500 an ounce!

5. The Problem is
we've been talking about the issues for a long long time and it doesn't seem to work. They talk about things like narratives and values and use code words to describe amorphous ideas without getting specific. People respond well to the Democrats ideas but we're losing the messaging game on those ideas
