Did you hear Chris Jansing's ridiculous question? (MSNBC)
Chris is a smart woman. How did she allow herself to be maneuvered into asking this comment tonight?

"Aren't Democrats afraid they'll be called foolish for protesting the Ohio vote?"

And then she went on to jabber with her reporter who claimed that Pelosi and leadership are not happy about the challenge just when Congress needs to devote time to the Tsunami relief problem.

Bah! Fie!

12. Chris certainly isn't afraid of being called
Edited on Wed Jan-05-05 10:49 PM by Kurovski
" A churlish tool of the Bush Whorehouse. "

Or maybe she meant to say "Aren't you foolish Democrats afraid of stepping onto commuter planes?" Maybe she was being helpful in her own way.

4. Yes, indeed, it's finally come to this.
To be called foolish for daring to stand up for the rights of Americans to have their votes counted fully and fairly, without tampering, fraud, interference and/or intimidation. To be called foolish for daring to call attention to the mountains of hard evidence of election fraud in Ohio alone, evidence totally ignored and ridiculed by the very media that should be screaming from the rooftops about this, and there was a time when they would have done just that. Yes, indeed, SIGH.

9. Jansing was in for Olbermann tonight-
he's sick. I think he heard the news that MSNBC is going to hire Tucker Carlson (his show will follow Keith's). That's enough to make anyone sick.

17. She has a point- most DEMS are afraid the GOP/media will laugh at them
In fact, most DEMS seem to care more about what Bush/media will do than they care about fighting for their hard-working base.

Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 01:57 AM by Xap

any Senators or Reps that might be watching while making up their minds whether or not to go along with it tomorrow.

What better place to send a message to liberals/progressives on the night before the big day than Keith Olbermann's show?

She was trying to INTIMIDATE!!!

19. She pissed Karen Hughes off at the first debate.
Actually had the nerve to suggest Hughes might be stretching the truth when she was crowing about Bush's great "win."

I knew it wouldn't be long before they got to her.

22. She was planting a meme. Pure and simple. She probably heard
it from Rush or Sean first. Or someone who heard it from Rush or Sean first. That's how the media have been brainwashing Americans for many years now. They help to spread the wingnut talking points.

25. God.
I wish one, JUST ONE of those media whores would ask me a question like that.

I'd look her dead in the eye, wait half a beat, and say "Democrats aren't afraid of ANYTHING."

Then sit back, silent.

Problem is, the Dems in Congress would then probably make me look like a fool for saying that.
