Did he *have* to be in Baghdad now, or could his trip have waited?

1. This can not be about Kerry
He left so the debate would be about voting problems and not about Kerry as a sore loser. He can not participate without minimizing the message that it is about the people and not about Kerry.

3. Seems like it.
The Good Group - it seems like they might have been in cahoots. I have a feeling that the FUN is just beginning.

Would you like to post a link to that info?
Thanks.

BTW: I don't blame the Iraqi's if they do boo Americans, it's hard for them to tell the difference between a good American and a bad one at this point.

14. He deserves to be booed
How can anyone who recognises that this entire, almost unspeakable crime of the US invasion and occupation of Iraq based on OBVIOUS lies and fabrications support Kerry as an alternative choice when his claim is that it is a matter of how the war was executed?

Everything about Kerry reeks loser.

5. I dunno...
...but it was planned well in advance. Israeli newspapers had numerous stories about it being about to happen last week and the week before.

While we are on Iraq, a soldier from there who is now back home told me, "Do not believe anythign you see or hear in the news media about what it is really like for our troops over there. Morale is absolutely awful. Most of us can't see where we are doing anything that's helping. All anybody wants to do is avoid getting killed until they can get back home. Then they turn around and send us right back!"

This soldier went on to say, "Whatever you see or read over here is from people they have handpicked to make sure an upbeat message goes out. But we are stuck in the mud over there and spinning our tires."

19. Yes, let's give the GOP the "sore loser" meme to shoot down any fraud
Who cares about political strategy when some need their hands to be held, or have a list of personal demands more important to them than results? Fucking idiots on DU, sometimes.

24. I think Kerry is hyper-media-conscious
and not in a good way. I suppose if he couldn't be in Washington to graciously thank Conyers et al. for their effort to raise awareness of the cracks in the system on behalf of those who voted or intended to vote for him, he might as well have been doing something useful like calling attention to the fuck-up that is Iraq. Still, I think his absense is a different kind of presence.

It's called political cowardice. I'm still upset about that email he sent out yesterday. He's quickly becoming persona non grata in my book.
