Ammendment to the Constitution-Right to Vote
Democrats should consider this an issue of worthy endevor over the next year. Are there any reasonable arguments against it?

2. Well, we can't just go changing the constitution willy-nilly every
time someone comes up with a good idea! Besides, it might reveal the Repubs to be the minority they really are.

They control the congress, the presidency and the courts. They will never let it happen.

3. Uhhh... there is already an amendment insuring the right to vote...

Amendment XXIV
Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Unfortunately, Congress hasn't enacted national standard to insure any right to have our vote counted!

4. Not enough...
We still have no protection re: disenfranchisement--IE: in some states a misdemeanor can prevent eligibility to vote. There is also the issue of DC whose citizens still do not have equal representation.

5. And this would do...what?
Republicans ALREADY broke the law. They don't care, whether it be state law, federal law, or the Constitution.
