7. L&O has gone downhill
since FDT has been on. Some of the earlier years actually had some good eps which were quite thoughtful and thought-provoking.

Sam has also acted in films such as "The Matthew Shepard Story", playing Dennis Shepard, and TV shows like "I'll Fly Away", a great Civil Rights drama.

9. I was desperate for entertainment the
other night and was watching an old l&o and fdt was on and they actually were going easy on someone who killed a liberal protestor.

I could read it in their language they were nothing but bushbotfascists.

I like CSI where I know William Peterson hates bush(and what he stands for) as much as we do.

6. He gave to a man running for Congress
in his district in CT in the 90's. The fellow was a Republican, but also, I believe, a personal friend. Sam stumped in PA for Gore in 2000, and was a guest of Bill Clinton during the celebration of 2000. He has been a board member of Refugees International for 18 years. (RI came out against going into Iraq before the war began, btw). He donates his time for films like "The Commission", "Hammer and Cycle", and PBS's show "The Visionaries", and numerous other local charities in the NY/CT area. Don't think he has ever been what could be called a conservative politically. BTW, his donation to the DNC was just a few days before his birthday on Nov. 11. His fans donated over $5000 to Refugees International in his honor this year, and he has said that that really means a lot to him.
(Yeah, I sorta like the fellow. If you'd like to know more about him, his roles, his causes, etc, please check out my website at:

Most of his fans I've met are liberals as well!)

11. Yep.
That's one reason he got involved in Refugees International. BTW, this year is the 20th anniversary of the film, and it is now out on DVD.
