How about a Boxer-Tubbs ticket?

Did you see them yesterday? They were incredibly impressive. Both have great leadership and civic experience. Both speak very well and clearly, but understand the language of politics. Both are women. Go ahead and chalk the women's vote to them. Placing an African American on the ticket would almost surely get virtually every eligible African American to vote.

haven't we learned that picking a ticket based on "electibility" is the wrong thing to do?

these two would stand up for their beliefs and not back down. they would also get women and minorities to vote for them in very high numbers.

plus, the democrats need to do something that will bring this very important voting block back squarely in their corner. america is ready. even if they would lose, this ticket would change this country for the better...but i believe it could be a huge winner.

8. YES!!!! Finally a ticket with SPINE!

I'm all for it. 90% of the Democrats in Washington today are afraid to stand up to the Repugs. We need some feisty folks on the ticket too, the pre-2001 Gore and the current Kerry hardly scream "inspirational". It would also show that progressives aren't afraid to run qualified non-white males for the highest office in the land.
