Ohio (R) writes letter to Runner's World about John Edwards
photo on the cover of October's(?) Magazine.

For your enjoyment here's what she wrote:

The placement of John Edwards on the cover so close to the election has revealed what RUNNER'S WORLD is: a tool for the Democratic party's views, instead of a good, old-fashioned running magazine. Real runners leave their politics at the door and run free and pure. I should know, because in addition to being a real runner (nine Boston Marathons--check the records), I'm also a real politician!

State Representative
Jean Schmidt (R)
Columbus, Ohio.

4. Whatever

And maybe Sinclair Broadcasting should have left their politics at the door?

I know the goal is for the complete elimination of any non-Conservative view, idea, or face....that is why Hollywood is always under attack and why Laura Ingrateahm wrote that stupid book Shut up and sing (not talking about Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, or Toby Keith of course)

5. I just don't get it
What is it with rw'ers and people expressing their opinion

If, under the constitution, a corp.is viewed as a person
doesn't that "person" also have a right to an opinion?

Republicans=the anti-dissent party

9. Bicycling Mag featured "Impeach Bush" socks as a gift
They had scant blurbs comparing the candidates, each of whom were in cycling photo ops. They were kinder to Kerry.

11. Um. George Walker Bush was on the cover of Runner's World...
back in 2002. (see here)

Thus Ms. Schmidt's argument holds no water.

By the way, as a runner, I have a passing curiousity in the running habits of public figures regardless of their politics.
