Poll question: Who is in favor or mounting a campaign against Hillary in 2006? |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 03:26 PM by xultar
I have just been informed that Hillary is only concerned about her career and getting the votes of the Wall Street elite.
Hillary has done a terrible job for her constiuents in NY. They don't like her and will support any other Democratic and preferably Third Party candidate against her.
Should we here @ DU mount a campaign against Hillary? Who is with me? I'm willing to help!

the slaughter of our few Senators to the Rethugs. Right now, I'd vote for Satan just not to give the Regressives one more vote.

Her "district in NY"?
Sorry, a U.S. Senator doesn't have a "district".

9. I don't live in New York, so I'll let the Dems from that state decide 2006 |
|
But under no circumstances will I allow her to be the 2008 Presidential nominee.

People here @ DU would much rather hate and mount a campaign against Hillary than Bush.
How sad is that?

14. Greatl idea but you don't go far enough! Less get rid of all DLC bastards |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 04:17 PM by Rowdyboy
Hillary Clinton Diane Feinstein Joe Lieberman Tom Carper Ben Nelson Bill Nelson and Maria Cantwell
are all members of the DLC therefore they must be evil. We need to spend all our energy and money cleansing our party of these hateful moderates! If we can only help knock off these seven, our party will begin to really tilt left again (even though we'll only have 38 senators and can no longer filibuster.
Then in 2008 we can loose a few more DLCers like Tim Johnson, Pryor, Biden, Landrieu, and Baucus;
That leaves us with only 33 Democrats in the senate, but the big majority of them are solidly "progressive". Once we shed Bayh, Reid, and Lincoln that puts us at 30 liberals in the senate (if you consider Barack Obama a liberal-apparently there's some question about that on DU too).
Anyway, here's to a purer (though considerably smaller) party in the future!

Inappropriate
Criticism of Democrats is allowed, campaigning against them is not.
