1. I'm impressed

While I don't know much about Reid, he certainly seems to be trying to take it to the Republicans now that he's Senate Minority Leader. He's attacked Thomas, is hitting Bush hard on fear mongering over Social Security, and is generally pretty outspoken.

BTW - I voted "average." Too early to tell. And if he pushes Roemer for DNC chair, he's absolute TOAST with me. Roemer is anti-choice, and evidently, funded by RICHARD MELLON SCAIFE.

I like Reid. He's folksy and an abortion centrist. He also called Bush straight out a liar. I'm proud to call him my leader.

I don't know much about him and he's not exactly a riveting speaker, but he's swallowed his feelings on abortion and lambasting Thomas, so that counts for something.

20. I don't mind Reid that much...

even though I didn't mind Daschle as much as most of the people who post here, but I still think a Blue State Democrat should be the leader in the Senate, because I think might do a better job than someone from a Red State...just like my Professor said to me at the end of last semester.
