Face The Nation, Bob Schieffer trying to sound indignant about
Armstrong being paid on NCLB, said he looked for info and not a peep out of the WH and are they so righteous now that they think they don't have to respond and that we are all stupid. Some more chatter from him but was that real indignation from him/rehearse script?

1. Rather than indignance,
how about an investigation by CBS into the possibility of MORE BRIBES to the so called "news" media?

 :puke:

4. Are you kidding?
CBS's president just went to the White House, hat in hand, to apologize and pledge more "fair and balanced" coverage in the future. They've kissed the Don's ring, CBS is proud and relieved to be an adjunct of Bushco.

12. Sorry...
I refer to him as a "fart" for his political whoring for the chimp, not due to any of the attributes of being a member of the elderly. ;)

14. Ahh, you were referring to him in the "methane" sense...
and associated sulfuric odor.

No offense taken!

:)

5. Armstrong will become a big push story for the media. They have
to be indignant. Armstrong called into question the integrity of every right wing pundit. Novak has not helped either by not disclosing the personal link to Regnery publishing where his son is the director of marketing. Novak pushed John E. O'Neill's book on national TV.

Watching Cafferty (sp?) the other morning, I now have some insight into why he was so upset at the emails calling him a RW shill.

6. Schiefer's a has been hack.
To paraphrase:

"Mr Kerry, in two minutes, what would your plan be to solve the defecit and create peace on the planet?"

next question...

"Mr. pResident: Is homosexuality a choice?"

Shrub: "I don't know Bob."

Bob: OK, next question.

And what got the MSM/echo chamber soundbite?

John Kerry "outs" Cheney daughter as lesbian, family outraged.

I would not be surprised to find out Schieffer's getting Bush money on the side to remain "objective". He's scripted.

9. People who live in
glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Just because his payments weren't in cash doesn't make him less culpable.

13. The WH will issue a statement, undoubtedly
They will admit to paying this clown but will acknowledge no wrong, make it seem like it was the right thing to do, and they will come out smelling like a rose. "See," they're supporters will say, "they're human, they make mistakes, but they own up." Sure, there is a major disconnect among these idiots, who can't see what's going wrong in Iraq, but about this issue the republicans will come out on top.

15. In the middle of "rant" he managed to say that he was sure Bush didn't
authorize this action. Of course Bob has been shilling for Bush for years. Face the Nation should have counted as a Republican campaign committeee in the election.
