2. I hope as many credible guys as possible run for that nom.
Now I wouldn't call Gingrich credible personally, but I bet he could garner some support on the right.

I want a split Republican party in 2008.

I want Gingrich savagely attacking Frist for supporting Bush's fiscal irresponsibility. I want Santorum attacking Gingrich for his marital infidelity. I want Haegel criticizing Santorum for having no foreign policy chops... etc, etc, etc.

Let them beat up on each other some.

They'll probably do what they did with junior. Select their guy early and play dirty to get him through the primary. Can you say Jeb?

3. He's got a better chance of becoming pregant by a duck.
But it'll be a fun show while it lasts.

7. I might hire Newt as a replacement host on --
-- Family Feud.

But I wouldn't consider voting for him for president.

8. He wouldn't stand a chance
of winning the Presidency. This could be good news for DEMs.

9. Could we be so lucky?
How can we encourage him? He would be a piece of cake to beat. He could revive his Contract on America.

10. Judging by the responses, he will seriously consider and most likely make
a stab at it.
